Community solar allows residents to switch to clean, local energy, see savings on their electric bill, pay no upfront costs, and make no changes to their property. Projects are being built in Otsego, Delaware, Chenango, Sullivan, Tompkins, Clinton, Monroe, and surrounding counties. Each farm serves between 400-1000 customers and offsets 5-10 million pounds of carbon emissions annually. This is huge and is a critical strategy for meeting New York State’s renewable energy initiative to provide 50% of the state’s energy needs with renewables by 2030.
Delaware River Solar strives to provide local, clean, renewable energy at no cost to the customer with an honest approach. Residents have the ability to save with no-risk, no-cost subscriptions. It’s a win-win for all. To reserve your spot and sign up, please call 845-414-3491 or go to the website at www.delawareriversolar.com.
